
Overview
Kedarnath is a town located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. It is nestled in the Himalayas, known primarily for the Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The sacred shrine of Kedarnath is said to have been built in the 8th century AD by Adi Shankaracharya. According to legend, the Pandavas from the epic Mahabharata sought forgiveness from Lord Shiva here.
Day 1 Haridwar to Phata/ Guptakashi

Start your journey early in the morning from Haridwar.

En route to Phata/Guptakashi. Spend some time exploring the city and its temples.

In the evening, check into a hotel in Phata/Guptakashi and relax for the night.
Day 2 Phata/ Guptakashi to Kedarnath (Agra Bhawan)

Wake up early in the morning and have a hearty breakfast.

The road to Kedarnath is winding and scenic, offering stunning views of the Himalayan mountains.

On the way, you can stop at Gaurikund, the base camp for the Kedarnath trek. Here, you can take a hot water spring bath and relax for a while.

In the afternoon, reach Kedarnath and check into your accommodation.

In the evening, visit the Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

Attend the evening aarti at the temple and soak in the spiritual atmosphere.
Day 3 Kedarnath to Guptakashi

Wake up early in the morning and have a light breakfast.

At around 6:00 AM, start your journey back to Sitapur.

In the afternoon, reach Phata/Guptakashi and check into your hotel.
Day 4 Guptakashi to Kedarnath to Haridwar

Wake up early in the morning and have a breakfast.

At around 7:00 AM, start your journey back to Haridwar.
